As many of you know, our beautiful Brenda passed away this week. She was the loving wife of Doug, cherished mum, adored Nanna and proud great grandmother. She was loved by so many and her warmth touched every corner of Cockington Green Gardens.

In honour of Brenda, and in keeping with her spirit, Doug has chosen to keep the Gardens open on Tuesday so that no visitor is disappointed. Cockington Green has always been about family and community, and this feels like the right way to honour her.

On Tuesday 9th December, while our family gathers to farewell Brenda, every entry ticket sold will be donated in her name to Dementia Australia. This is our way of giving back and creating a legacy for a remarkable woman who lived with such courage through the long journey of dementia.
