We’d love you to “Give us a Hand” and visit us Monday, 9th March 2026 for only $5 entry per person (adults, seniors, children) to help celebrate Canberra’s birthday with all entry proceeds on the day going to support local charities through Hands Across Canberra’s annual Canberra Day Appeal

In addition to the $5 entry fee going to charity, train rides will be just $2 each, with all funds also going to the Canberra Day Appeal to support local charity.

To bring a little extra fun to the day, and for the creatively inclined, to celebrate the “Give us a Hand” theme of the day, you can bring your best handprint artwork on the day to go into the draw for a 12 Month Family Pass to Cockington Green Gardens

With current weather forecasts looking like a nice Autumn day, we encourage as many people as possible to save some money and support the charities that will benefit and continue their work looking after the less fortunate in our community. We look forward to seeing you and adding to the more than $75,000 raised on Canberra Day since 2013.
